(Mostly canon) Story[]
Gretel was born with a skin condition (Theorized to be familial atypical multiple mole melanoma syndrome/FAMMM syndrome), in which she was bullied for in her life. Tv outlets and everyday people would bombard her with interviews and disgusted looks. She went through many phases, one where she hated all of her buds and another where she would fight anyone she hated. One day, while wandering outside, a man mistook her for a monster and stabbed her. In the end, she finally got to have alone time after her death.
Theories[]
Cyanide theory: In the song, Gretel references mangos multiple times, which the pits of the fruits have small amounts of cyanide in them. There is also a reference to cherries, which their seeds also have cyanide in them.
Release theory: In the MV, she doesn’t fade away when she describes when she “died” and only does so during the potluck verses. In the theory, it says she never died, she just finally got the break she wanted after her brother’s death.
