(Mostly canon) story[]
Hansel, a young boy, lived with his mother, father, and sister Gretel. Hansel was always the least favorite of his family, causing him to fall into depression and sadism. He always wanted to swap places with his sister, wanting to experience the love she got. He would go to self-harm, playing with knives and fire for attention. At one point, he got so desperate he would eventually kill himself. In the end, he finally got the attention he wanted in the form of a funeral.
Theories[]
Pigeon theory: Hansel's design is reminiscent of a rat with wings, a nickname for a pigeon. Pigeons are often seen as dirty, diseased, and unwanted, but are actually clean and dainty, much in how Hansel is appealingly sweet. People see Hansel as an anti-social and unneeded annoyance, despite him trying to be nice.
Appearance[]
Hansel is a faded greenish-teal rat with wings. He has a faded lime chest and under chin, orange wings, and wears a blue jester hat. The jester hat he wears has a yellow crown around the brim of it, as well as multiple golden bells. He also wears red fabric with bells on his back. Hansel has faded light-rose feet with three digits, as well as a tail that curls at the end with the same color. His wings are orange with a lighter orange on the inside of the wings. Hansel dons a tired expression, or a squinted expression, with bags under his eyes; which have a faded light-rose sclera, black circle-like pupils, and faded periwinkle eyelids. His teeth are yellow and match the color of his crown. His muzzle seems to bag down, and he possesses a red circle-like nose. He also has a flop of hair-like fur that is darker than his main fur color; faded greenish-teal.
